Replacing a classic profile
In the case of existing drives with a classic profile, e. g. B/17, this can be replaced by the SPB wedge belt profile. A prerequisite for this is the observance of the minimum disc diameter, which is higher than that of the classic V-belt due to its increased design for wedge belt of the same width. Pulleys suitable for wedge belts must also be used.
